MINISTER FOR Environmental Protection and Jerusalem Affairs Zeev Elkin usually accompanies Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on his trips to Russia, where he takes on the role of interpreter. He also goes to Russia without Netanyahu, as he did last week to attend the annual bilateral business forum Israel-Russia 2017 in Moscow, on the sidelines of the 14th convention of the Russia-Israel intergovernmental committee for economic cooperation.

Today, on October 28 in Moscow signed an agreement on cooperation between Tatarstan Investment Development Agency and the Israeli-Russian Business Council – a powerful non-political organization whose main aim is to establish direct business contacts and favorable conditions of cooperation between the organizations and companies of the State of Israel and the Russian Federation.
Signatures under the act put TIDA Chief Executive Taliya Minullina and Chairman of the Israeli-Russian Business Council Teimuraz Hihinashvili (Ben Yehuda).
